How Markets Work
Market structure
Each market asks a binary YES/NO question with an objective, measurable outcome. Every market has a close time, a resolution time, an approved template ID, a comparison operator, and a target value.
Parimutuel payout
payout = deposited_amount x (total_winner_pool / total_winning_side_deposits)
Example: Market resolves YES. Total YES deposits = 100 SUI, Total NO deposits = 200 SUI, total pool = 300 SUI. After 7% fee: winner pool = 279 SUI. A user who deposited 10 SUI on YES receives 10 x (279 / 100) = 27.9 SUI.
Market creation
Bot-created markets are scheduled by the protocol operator and carry no bond. User-created markets require a 5 SUI bond, enforce a 1-hour minimum duration, and pay the creator a 1.5% fee when the market resolves cleanly.
Resolution
YumeBet uses two-source oracle cross-validation. Auto-resolution requires confidence at least 90 and source agreement within 1%. If either condition fails, the market enters NeedsReview. If unresolved after 7 days, the watchdog auto-cancels it and depositors can claim refunds.
