Protocol notice
YumeBet is an experimental, open-source prediction market protocol deployed on the Sui blockchain. It is not operated by a registered company or legal entity. All market interactions — bets, settlements, fee distributions — execute autonomously via immutable smart contracts. No individual or organisation takes custody of user funds at any point.
YumeBet is an experimental protocol in active development. It is provided strictly as-is, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or absence of defects.
The protocol has undergone internal security review. A formal third-party smart contract audit is planned prior to mainnet launch. No security review eliminates all risk. You interact with the protocol entirely at your own risk.
YumeBet currently operates on the Sui Testnet. All tokens, NFTs, balances, and points are testnet assets with no real monetary value. Do not treat testnet activity as real financial transactions.
The protocol, its parameters, smart contracts, fee structures, and rewards programme may be changed, reset, or discontinued without notice during the testnet beta. No commitments are made regarding the continuity of testnet data into mainnet.
Age. You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher.
Prohibited jurisdictions. You may not access or use YumeBet if you are located in, a citizen of, or a resident of any jurisdiction where prediction markets, speculative trading, or digital asset activities of this nature are prohibited or require a licence that the protocol does not hold. This includes without limitation:
By using YumeBet you represent and warrant that you are not in a prohibited jurisdiction and that your use is lawful in your jurisdiction. Access may be restricted based on geographic location at any time without notice.
YumeBet is a non-custodial, autonomous prediction market protocol. All transactions execute directly on the Sui blockchain via smart contracts. No individual or entity takes custody of your funds. Market outcomes are determined by objective, publicly verifiable data sources (oracles) with an auto-cancel safety path for unresolvable markets.
Protocol operator key.A privileged on-chain capability (the “protocol operator key”) exists to perform operational functions: creating markets, triggering oracle resolution, and cancelling unresolvable markets. This key does not control user funds — all fund flows are governed exclusively by the smart contract logic. Protocol fees are distributed autonomously to a hardcoded treasury address at the time of market settlement. The existence of this key is disclosed in the spirit of full transparency; it is a standard operational requirement of prediction market protocols at this stage of development.
YumeBet is not a financial institution, broker, exchange, investment adviser, gambling operator, or licensed entity of any kind.
By using this protocol you irrevocably waive all claims arising from any loss of funds, including but not limited to losses from placing and losing bets, security exploits or hacks, smart contract failures, and oracle errors. This waiver is a condition of use. If you do not accept it, do not use the protocol.
Betting losses are final. The parimutuel market mechanism distributes the losing side's pool to the winning side. A losing bet is the intended, contractually-defined outcome of participating in a market. No claim, chargeback, or recovery action of any kind is available for losing bets.
Exploit and hack losses. This is an experimental protocol that has not undergone a formal third-party security audit. Smart contracts may contain bugs or be subject to exploits by third parties. You interact entirely at your own risk. No compensation will be provided for losses resulting from security incidents, whether caused by the protocol, third-party attackers, or factors outside anyone's control.
Additional risks include oracle or data feed delays, errors, or manipulation; Sui blockchain network congestion, outages, or forks; market resolution edge cases triggering auto-cancel; protocol upgrades; and loss of wallet access or private key mismanagement. Only interact with funds you can afford to lose entirely.
Yume Spirits NFTs are digital collectibles providing staking utility within the protocol. They are not securities, investments, financial instruments, or claims on any revenue or profit. Ownership does not entitle you to any dividend, profit share, or ownership interest in any entity.
NFT rarity, staking weights, reward rates, and royalty parameters are defined on-chain and may change with protocol upgrades. Secondary market prices are determined entirely by market participants and are not guaranteed.
Testnet WL points have no monetary value and exist solely for whitelist eligibility purposes. They cannot be exchanged, sold, transferred, or redeemed for any asset.
Snapshot criteria, tier thresholds, and allocation rules may change at any time. Points obtained through abuse, botting, or violation of these Terms may be voided without notice or recourse.
You may not:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that no individual, contributor, or party associated with YumeBet shall have any liability whatsoever to you for:
The total aggregate liability of all parties associated with YumeBet to you for any claim shall not exceed the protocol fees paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is lower.
You expressly waive any right to seek damages beyond this limit. If you do not accept this limitation, do not use the protocol.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall first be subject to a 30-day good-faith negotiation period. Failing resolution, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration in South Africa under the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA) rules.
You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration relating to the protocol.
